In 2008, Media – Acquisitions Ltd. was founded by Mrs Andreja Sertic, she gendered strong team of media. Media – Acquisitions Ltd. has established itself as one of the leader in the market specialising in high-profile quality films from worldwide talent. Our focus is not only television programming (free TV, basic cable, VOD, pay TV etc.) but also are working closely with producers and production companies in region, our other focus is cinema distribution by acquiring strong European and worldwide titles and introducing them to public all across Ex-Yugoslavia and border. From 2008 till now, Media –Acquisitions Ltd. our catalogue has grown and now we have over 300 titles which include worldwide classic, ex-Yugoslavia cinematography, feature films and library titles.
Andreja Sertic, prof., gained media experience for more than 11 years working in different media fields: production, distribution, marketing, advertising, copywriting, content acquisitions and sales. Before starting up Media Acquisitions, for 5 and a half years as Head of Acquisitions and Program Sales and the key member in Programming for RTL television in Croatia, station in the chain of RTL Group, gained experience while cooperating on high level with executives across Europe and USA, including major companies (Warner Bros, Fox, Sony, Universal, Paramount, MGM, Disney) as well as independents, and brought the station from start-up to leading TV station in the region, together with the team of experts
